The UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 was held on October 24, 2025, at the Galaxy International Convention Center in Macau, under the theme “AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future.” The conference formed part of the UNU Macau Milestone Series, marking the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the 50th anniversary of the United Nations University.

The event brought together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, educators, and social innovation practitioners to examine how artificial intelligence can support a more equitable and ethical digital future. AI Education Day was also held as part of the broader programme, extending the discussion to education, youth engagement, and responsible AI literacy.

Participation in the conference included invited speaking contributions, accepted research papers, and continued engagement with the UNU Global AI Network. The contribution focused on the practical use of artificial intelligence in sustainability, compliance, and climate-related decision-making, connecting technical AI development with real-world governance and social impact needs.
