Hola! I am Karen, current working on climate data solutions by building @Climind (building a data climate platform and conducting study & research on green finance at @Imperial College, Centre for Climate Finance & Investment
Most recently, I was recognised to be named the first female Chinese selected as a Young Leader for the SDGs recognized by the United Nation (17 out of 5400 +). And named Forbes 30 under 30 for building Carbonbase, MiraclePlus S21 (former Y Combinator China). Before that, I worked at Merrill Lynch and Microsoft in the data science sector. Former part-time data scientist at Planto, built the first clustering algorithm for Livi Bank - Hong Kong's licensed virtual bank. My entrepreneurship journey started by building Felesbio with a group of incredible synthetic bio PhDs, and MIT Innovation Node.
When not building products, I am A "community engineer", TEDxSheungWan, WiDS, SIISC.
If not working on climate, I might be a full-time musician, after 10 years of violin, 5 years of drums
