The Sustainable Development Future Forum 2025 was held from October 1 to 2, 2025, at Humboldt Carré in Berlin. Hosted by the Foundation Development and Climate Alliance, the annual conference brought together participants from business, academia, policy, and civil society to discuss sustainable development, climate protection, and cross-sector collaboration.
The Foundation Development and Climate Alliance works to connect sustainable development with global climate action, including through voluntary carbon offsetting, high-quality climate projects, and development benefits in the Global South. The 2025 forum focused on practical pathways for climate transformation, corporate decarbonization, climate finance, and collaborative action.
Hanyuan “Karen” Wang participated as a speaker, contributing a perspective on how artificial intelligence can support climate action through better data infrastructure. The contribution focused on the role of AI in helping organizations access, interpret, and apply climate information for mitigation, adaptation, compliance, and sustainability decision-making.
