Keynote speech at Oslo Energy Forum 2023

OEF 2023: Energy Transition in the new risk reality The energy trilemma – security, sustainability, and affordability – creates more important challenges in today’s geopolitical situation than ever before.

It was a humble opportunity to be able to speak at Oslo Energy Forum, shared my work and stories from Climind, and Centre for Climate Finance & Investment at Imperial College London, and represent SDG young leader recognized by United Nations. The forum had an incredible lineup of speakers, John Kerry, Bill Gates, Larry Fink, Amina Mohammed ( Deputy Secretary General, UN) , Jonas Gahr Støre ( Prime Minister of Norway), Fatih Birol ( Executive Director of IEA), Professor Jim Skea (Co-chair, IPCC, professor at Imperial College ) Jim Hagemann Snabe, Svein Tore Holsether, Berit Reiss-Andersen and more can be found at https://lnkd.in/ei5Pn4Q2

The forum theme this year is Energy Transition in the new risk reality. Climate risk is financial risk. My main takeaway from OEF is that the globe has to interconnect in order to create energy transition solutions through technological innovation, capital solutions, and implementation ( As John Kerry said in the remark ).

Proud to be able to work in this sector with all the important journeys, through our startup Climind, building digital data platform for climate through AI technologies, and Centre for Climate Finance & Investment.

Many thanks to the organising committee, Sven Mollekleiv, Anders Opedal, Tore I. Sandvold, and everyone else who helped out behind the scenes. Thank you also to Amy Harder (Cipher's Executive Editor) and Siri Lill Mannes for the excellent forum moderating.
