Spoke at the China-Gulf Youth Dialogue on Entrepreneurship, Technology and China-Gulf Cooperation in Beijing, July 12, 2026

The China-Gulf Youth Dialogue was held at Beijing’s 798 Art District on 12 July 2026. The event was hosted by the Sino-Gulf Youth Network (SGYN) in partnership with the UAE Youth Ambassadors Program and the Global Shapers Beijing II Hub.

The dialogue brought together young leaders, scholars and entrepreneurs from China and the United Arab Emirates, including participants from the Yenching Academy of Peking University and the Schwarzman Scholars program at Tsinghua University. Through a keynote panel and interactive breakout discussions, the programme examined cross-cultural communication, global entrepreneurship and the evolving relationship between China and the Gulf region.

SGYN is a youth-led platform focused on strengthening connections between China and the Arab world, particularly the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Founded in Shanghai in 2024, the network organises programmes around cultural exchange, professional development and China-Gulf cooperation.
