Joined a Climate Data and Green Cooperation Roundtable at the 2024 Mingzhu Bay International Climate Investment and Financing Conference in Guangzhou on 9 December 2024

The 2024 Mingzhu Bay International Climate Investment and Financing Conference was held on 8–9 December 2024 at the Nansha International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou under the theme “Global Cooperation, Green Future.”

The conference was jointly hosted by the Xinhua News Agency Brand Office, Xinhua News Agency Guangdong Branch and China Economic Information Service. It brought together government officials, financial institutions, academic researchers, businesses and international organizations working in climate policy, green finance and low-carbon technology.

The programme included a main forum, five thematic forums, overseas sessions connected with Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Mexico, and an exhibition for climate-friendly companies and technologies. Major topics included climate investment, green finance standards, energy transition, international cooperation and the development of climate-friendly industries.
