The 34th SDG Knowledge Sharing Forum was held in Nanshan, Shenzhen, on 8 March 2025 under the theme “Cross-Boundary, Coexistence and Sustainability: Women’s Power amid the Rise of Emerging Technologies.”

The event was jointly organized by the China Alliance of Social Value Investment, the Shero Initiative and the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women. It was supported by the Urban Land Institute, Chinese fashion company ELLASSAY, the Xinhaofang Charitable Foundation and the University of Hong Kong Institute for China Business.

The China Alliance of Social Value Investment, also known as CASVI, was established in Shenzhen in 2016 as a platform focused on sustainable finance, social-value assessment and impact investment. Its SDG Knowledge Sharing Forum is a public-interest discussion series based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By the 34th session, the programme had involved nearly 100 sustainability specialists and generated more than 200 hours of public knowledge-sharing activities.

The event brought together entrepreneurs, corporate executives, researchers, legal professionals, ESG practitioners and representatives of women’s professional networks. The programme examined gender equality, artificial intelligence, green buildings, climate technology and women’s participation in technical and business leadership.
