The United Nations University Global AI Network, also known as UNU-GAIN, was officially launched at the UNU Macau AI Conference 2024. The network was created as a global cooperation platform to support responsible, inclusive, and sustainable artificial intelligence development.
UNU-GAIN brings together members from academia, government institutions, international organizations, civil society, and the private sector. Its work focuses on multi-stakeholder cooperation around AI governance, digital development, sustainable innovation, and the use of AI to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
